Stevens Point Area Co-op is putting on an event Series entitled ” The Snowball Effect”. This event series will be running November thru February. Each month will have 2 events on the 1st and 3rd Thurs of the Month. This first month is our History month and for our first event we are showing a documentary, Food For Change, The Story of Cooperation in America. Food For Change is a feature-length documentary about the history of the co-op movement and food co-ops today. The movie focuses on consumer food co-ops to tell the larger story of cooperatives – their role in American history and their current efforts to create local food systems. A short but awesome group discussion will follow. Snack and riveting conversations provided by Stevens Point Area Co-op!
